Why Comfort Is Your Enemy

To “Go Outside” often takes us to the uncomfortable – away from familiarity – towards people we normally wouldn’t be associated with.  It meets the needs of others and points people BEYOND temporal thinking. In fact, GOING OUTSIDE is best fueled by the idea to serve others.

Comfort Is Your Enemy

I’ve been in small business for 20 years, consulted on behalf of entrepreneurs and corporate clients, served on boards, led economic development organizations and even started a new church. That makes me a pro. NOT. Heck, being an OUTSIDER is still something that gives me indigestion. Perhaps, that’s why I like it. (Not the stomach stuff, but the perceived opportunity.)

Simply put, to GO OUTSIDE is to leave YOURSELF behind – to leave your comfort and join Jesus in the action.
